The Barefoot Tango
Hannah Ryu Mentored by John Tarrh With emotional and vibrant passages, "The Barefoot Tango" expresses the feeling of running in nature in bare feet. The strings and percussion intertwine lyrically and actively to add life to the piece, allowing the listener to experience the power of music and to realize that there are beautiful sounds within our dramatic Earth. |

He figured out the melody using that sense of parallel intervals and the bridge section is inspired by the Charlie Haden tune, "La Pasionara." |
